ILA Scotland is a Scottish Executive scheme that can help you pay for the cost of your selected course. It’s not a loan so you do not have to pay it back!
ILA Scotland £200
If you earn less than £18,000 per year, are aged 18 or over and are a resident in Scotland then you may qualify for £200 funding each year from ILA Scotland. ILA’s can be used towards the cost of many of our courses. Students must have their account number in place and be booked on by us with ILA Scotland before the start date of their selected course. ILA Scotland £500
If you earn less than £18,000 per year, are aged 18 or over and are a resident in Scotland then you may qualify for £500 funding each year from ILA Scotland. This funding can only be used towards selected Higher National qualifications. In order to use the funding you must be studying for 50% or more of the time needed to complete a full-time course. Applications for this funding can be obtained from ILA Scotland from June 2008 and can be contacted free on 0808 1001090 or visit their website at: www.ilascotland.org.uk

Please note that standard full-time courses in universities and colleges are not eligible for this type of funding however, there are a wide range of part-time courses to choose from.
